Early Times will record with Jay Messina in November.

Jay has been a friend since right around the time I moved to NYC. He is somebody that I admire professionally and whose friendship I have cherished. I always dig when we get together to see a show, grab dinner, have a libation or two, or just catch up on a phone call.

If you don’t know his name, you have heard his work unless you’ve been living in a hole for the past 40 years or so.  The all music guide lists his credits here.

I am really looking forward to having him oversee the session and hang out for the day. It will be work but it will be fun.
